Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get my child involved in the student ministry?
This is probably the most frequently asked question of our Student Ministry. The tough part is, there is no one right answer for every student. We do want to mention a few different ideas of getting your son/daughter involved here. One of the easiest ways to get your student involved is to introduce them to one the Student Pastor or one of the volunteers. We invite you to come with your student and make sure that they are introduced to a student ministry team member. Once we meet them, we will find a student who can show your son/daughter around during the services. Another way to get your student connected is to get them involved in Grounded Bible Study on Sunday nights or The Loft bible Study on Sunday Mornings. Another way to get your son/daughter involved in the ministry is to come to a major event. Because of all the events we have, it may be a lot less threatening to come to an event rather than a church service or Bible study.

How do I keep up to date on activities going on in the student ministry?
You can go to this website regularly, sign p to receive our monthly newsletter, and/or subscribe to our text blasts for parents by texting to:"41411" message: "downpourparents"

How do I, as a parent, get involved in the student ministry?
There are numerous ways for you, as a parent or guardian, to get involved in The Student Ministry. The easiest way to be involved is to pray for The Student Ministry on a regular basis. Although there are a lot of things going on in the ministry, none of those things make any kind of significant difference without God’s power. As far as physically getting involved in the ministry, there are tons of ways to get plugged in. You can come by the office, find Mikey during an event, or talk to another volunteer about getting involved. We always need help, and we always need energetic godly volunteers. SOOO please let us know if you want to be a part of the ministry here.
